Polishing Beeswax Origin:
Beeswax is a natural wax derived from honeybees. Typically ten (10) pounds of honey yields one (1) pound of beeswax. When originally formed, wax in the honeycomb is nearly white, but yellows with the addition of natural oils introduced by pollen from flowers. Beeswax is collected directly from the honeycombs of a beehive and can be found in different forms. Do to its high melting point; beeswax’s already easy workability is enhanced when in granules/pearl form.

Beeswax as a Polish/Conditioner/Wax:
The protective coating that beeswax naturally provides form the elements allows it to be used for polishing, conditioning, and wax purposes. Beeswax can be used in the making of several different kinds of protectants. Some of these items include- shoe polish, boot conditioner, furniture polish, surfboard wax, sealing wax, molding and modeling wax, and can even be used for marble stone repair.
Some of the more unique uses for beeswax include: batik art, bow making, fly tying, quilting and sewing, pill coating, wax tablets for writing, surgical bone wax, and even as lubrication for machinery.
Beeswax is a firm substance yet still maintains a pliable state to it. To get beeswax in a liquid state to introduce it to a formulation, the melting point is around 146 degrees Fahrenheit. As for composition of this ingredient, it is very forgiving. Beeswax never expires and can be heated time and time again for use.
